Pink and Sparkly Parties Fit for a Princess.
Sometimes, girls just want to be girls! If your little princess is after a girlie party, then you have definitely come to the right place! I’ve pulled together some of the girliest of girlie party ideas that are sure to delight your birthday girl.
I haven’t put any recommended ages for the ideas below, as I think as the parent or guardian you are best placed to decide what is age appropriate for your little one and her friends.
So, get ready for a pink and sparkly overload!
Pamper Party
Who doesn’t like a bit of pampering! Whether you decide to host it at home or your local beauty salon, make sure you get a bit of pampering too. This cute pamper party set up is by Teepees Treats and Events.
Princess Party
I think every little girl goes through a ‘princess stage’ at some point and who can blame them, I still have my moments!
Pony Party
Most stables will offer some kind of pony ride session for parties and its a great way to keep the kids entertained, meanwhile you can play photographer.
Hair Styling & Braiding
Another girlie favourite is a hair styling and braiding party – assuming the birthday girl and her friends have long hair!
Modelling & Photoshoot
A super fun and flexible party activity that could be held at home or a hired hall. Equally you could style, art direct and photograph yourself or rope in some professionally help.
Mermaid pool party
Definitely a party that you can outsource to the experts! It’s always a good idea to check that all the guests are competent swimmers.
Nails, nails nails!
This would be a lovely activity to host with a few friends at home and perhaps tie it in with a sleepover.
‘Claire’s’ Party
Claire’s offer in store parties, which seem to be popular and it certainly makes it a hassle free party for you! They also have lots of great girlie birthday stash and even party bags.
‘Lush’ Party
Lush offer in store parties where the party guests get to make one of the lush bath/body products and are entertained with party games.
Gymnastics/Dance Party
Many dance schools and gymnastic clubs will offer a party package. These are great at keeping the little ones occupied and will leave you plenty of time to sort out the food and the cake.
Pottery Painting Party
Pottery cafes have been popping up all over the place and are great for parties – lot’s of fun and lots of mess and none of it in your home.
Ice Skating Party
I’m told its just like riding a bike; it all just comes flooding back…. Let me know how you get on!
Decorating Party
Who doesn’t love some sparkles and sprinkles!? If you aren’t a keen baker, you can easily find ‘naked’ cupcakes and cookies at the supermarket, all ready to be decorated.
Cooking Party
If you are feeling brave, you may want to host a cooking party at home yourself. However, if you would prefer to hand over the reins to someone else there are plenty of local businesses offering this service, or you could contact Cook Stars to see if they have a local provider.
Recording Studio Party
Why not let the kids sing their hearts out and then they can each take home a copy of the recording as their party bag gift. Fortunately there is likely to be sound proofing at the studio!
Afternoon Tea Party
A pretty and sophisticated tea party might be just what your birthday girl is after. Finger sandwiches and scones make quite easy catering options, which is a win for you. There are lots of places hiring vintage tea sets too.
Tie Dye Party
If you are looking for something a little creative then this might just be the answer. The tie dyed item can also double up as the party bag gift.
Ice Cream Party
There seems to be an ice cream parlour on every high street these days, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find a venue for the big day.
Roller Disco Party
I thought roller disco’s were a thing of the past, but it seems they are making a come back and I for one am delighted. I still have my roller boots with pink wheels and can’t wait to try them out with my daughter.
Henna Party
Another one probably best left to the experts – I’m not sure I could manage these intricate designs myself!
Sleepover Party
All girls love a sleepover, so what better than one that is pink and sparkly. This gorgeous set up is by Sleepy Lily, however there are teepee companies popping up everywhere, so you will be sure to find one local to you.
Fairies
I just love this idea of visiting The Fairy House, I am just waiting for a good excuse to go! You can either go for an ‘experience’ with up to 4 children, or book the whole house for a private party.
Craft Party
There are lots of great crafty activities for girls from making bracelets to decorating t-shirts or totes. You can find lots of ideas on my blogs Craft Activities for Children’s Parties and Eco-Friendly Craft Activities for Children’s Parties.
Face Paint Party
Face painting with lots of sparkles and glitter.
Photo Booth
Set up a photo booth or selfie corner for the girls to take photos of themselves. You could provide props and costumes for them to get dressed up in.
