Gifts for Teacher

Blogger, Mother, Creator and Lover of Children’s Parties

End of year Thank You Presents for Teachers.

A little off the topic of children’s birthday parties, but an important one none-the-less!  If you and the other parents in the class WhatsApp group are tearing your hair to think of something for this years teacher gift, then help is at hand.  Whether you are buying something on behalf of your child or clubbing together to buy one big gift, I have lots of ideas for you.

I think it is probably safe to say that most teachers would love a gift voucher, so that they can select a gift of their choice, rather than 30 boxes of chocolates.   However, a John Lewis voucher is perhaps not that imaginative….  If you would like something a little different, how about a gift voucher from Wanderlust Wines, who offer sustainably grown wines from artisan winemakers (so not your everyday bottle of plonk) and then your teacher can choose a tipple or two of their choice.

Another lovely idea would be a gift voucher for a local garden centre, so your teacher can choose their own house or garden plants to brighten up their home.  Or how about a voucher for an experience, such as an afternoon tea, a spa day or a meal out at a nice restaurant.

Alternatively a personalised gift is always a nice touch.  If you are feeling creative and also happen to own a cricut machine, you could personalise something yourself.  Alternatively, if your child loves to draw then I love the teacher gifts from Dinky Artist, who will put your child’s thank you drawing on a coaster, mug, cushion, laptop sleeve, tea towel etc.

Most teachers also love a good bit of stationery; a beautiful new notebook, fancy writing pens, fun stickers or a pencil case.  How about combining the two and gifting a personalised stationery set; you can find some lovely things on Not on The High Street.

If you love a bit of baking, you could invest in one of these cookie stamp embossers to make cookies or cake toppers for cupcakes.  The best thing about this purchase, is you’ll be able to use this year after year!

As we all know a nice cup of tea is the answer to almost everything!  Victoria Mae Designs has some lovely tea gifting options tailored for teachers.

If you would like to give a gift that keeps on giving, then you may want to consider a subscription for a few months.  There are some really great choices these days for coffee, gin, gardening, beauty products, flowers, snacks, meal delivery, baking, books or even cheese!  You can find a great selection of subscriptions on Not on The High Street

Whatever you decide to get, I am sure your teacher will be delighted, as they say; it’s the thought that counts.
