Party Day Checklist

After all the planning, don’t forget anything at the last minute!

Having put all that time and effort into planning the big day for your little one, the last thing you want to do is to fall at the last hurdle.  So, I suggest making a ‘Party Day Checklist’ in advance, so when everything seems a bit rushed and hectic on the big day, you have your list to fall back on to make sure you remember everything that you need.

The Checklist:

The Big Day

  • Connect with all the suppliers to confirm they are on track and have the correct address for the venue
  • Arrive at the venue ahead of time to decorate, set up the food table, lay the party table, organise the games and activities, set up a ‘present table’ and organise the party bags.

Packing List - things not to forget to take with you

  • The cake, cake stand, candles, matches/lighter.
  • The party food and drinks (and for the adults)
  • Plates, bowls, cutlery, cups, serving dishes, drinks jug, tablecloths, knife to cut the cake, serving platters and spoons.
  • Phone and charger – especially if you are using your phone to take photographs or play the music through.
  • Your Party Day Tool Box
  • Decorations
  • Props for the party games and activities

During the Party

  • While running around making sure everything is running smoothly, don’t forget to make sure the birthday child is having a good time.
  • Remember to hand out the party bags at the end of the party.

All that is left to say is – good luck!
