Glesni’s mum went all out for her Harry Potter inspired party, following a summer of lockdown!
The golden snitches were a made with Ferrero Rocher, with wings made from vellum. The glue gun was a must for this project for making the wands, the floating candles and the flying keys. Hidden inside the cupcakes adorned with wizards hats was brightly coloured icing for a little surprise. Glesni’s mum also made Aragon the spider, a dementor and a stag Petronius spell, which was created using a sheet of acetate from Wickes, paint, command hooks and battery operated fairy lights. I loved that the kids each made their own bow truckle.
